What happens to what you enter

Your age, height, weight, body fat, goal weight, and every other answer are worked out by the page itself, in your browser. They are never sent to us or to anyone else. There is no account, and nothing you enter is saved: close the page and your answers are gone.

What we do not do

• No cookies.
• No analytics, advertising, or tracking tools.
• No session recording.
• No selling or sharing of personal information, because we do not have any from this calculator.

Working offline

So the calculator keeps working with a weak signal, your browser saves a copy of the app's own files (its code, styles, and logo) on your device. It never saves your answers. You can remove the copy at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.

Our hosting provider

The app is delivered by Vercel, our hosting provider. Like any website host, Vercel handles standard technical details of each visit, such as your IP address and browser type, to send you the page and keep the service secure. These details do not include anything you type into the calculator.

Who it is for

The calculator is meant for adults 18 and over. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone.

If this changes

If we ever add features that store information, such as saved plans, they will be optional, they will be explained here first, and you will be able to see and delete your own information. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
